A little more on RSS

I am not an expert on RSS by any means. Most of what I know comes from trial and error. Of course, there is always Google for more help. Just search RSS or RSS sample. Here are a couple of Web sites on RSS that I used for our STEM meeting yesterday:

I use Google's Reader to keep track of all of my feeds.

Here is information from Apple on how to do feeds for podcasts, including a sample feed.

After our first lab this pats week, we will continue with a discussion about RSS feeds today, being presented by Kyle Hansen and myself. I hope to see everyone there at the usual time at the usual place.

The Wednesday night section of Jour 163 is also focusing on podcasting and RSS feeds this week. I'm not an RSS pro, so I'm bringing one in...Chris Christensen, creator of The Amateur Traveler Podcast.

You're all invited to come hear him during the first hour of the class. That's 6-7 p.m. in DBH 226.

Tutorials On the Way

An update on the vids: I was sick all last week, but I now have several tutorials on blogging and vlogging on que, uploading to Blip.tv.

Sorry about the wait. I hope to see everyone again today.

STEM meeting today; WE GOT RECOGNIZED!

I just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a STEM meeting today at 4:30 PM in the Academic Success Center. Our room has been moved today because of a conflict in the scheduling. Instead of our normal room, we'll be meeting in a room just adjacent to 116. I'll be there early to show everyone where to go.

P.S. Some good news about the club - Jess told yesterday that she received a letter from the University, saying that STEM has been officially recognized by SJSU. Now that's cool.
